Oli Li Lievre

Oli Le Lievre’s career has been guided by curiosity and the opportunities in modern agriculture.

From on-farm roles starting as a jackaroo in Australia before heading to Canada and studying Agribusiness at Marcus Oldham College, Oli’s journey has taken him on a rich agricultural path.

By 2017, he was involved in an agritech startup supporting farmers with their livestock management, has spent time in corporate advisory and marketing for leading Agribusiness.

Founding Humans of Agriculture in 2019, Oli believes the biggest opportunities for our sector lie in empowering our people, showcasing the possibilities in agriculture today and asking the question: “What could it look like in the future?”

Q. Why me, why now?

It’s no secret that the career opportunities in agriculture are endless, every individual, every business and every sector shape our collective narrative.

Are we courageous enough to be bold and acknowledge what hasn’t worked in order to capture the opportunities ahead?

Q. The Common Ground we must make, and why it’s urgent…

We have a lot of tradition and wisdom across many generations in Aussie agriculture.

Now we need to partner that with the brightest minds and leading technology to remain productive and profitable into the future.
