Sandra Godwin

Sandra Godwin is an award-winning journalist, freelance writer and communications specialist with an enduring love of the land and a decades-long history of sharing the stories of regional and rural Australians. After growing up on a beef property in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Sandra embarked on a career in journalism that took her to Queensland and then Victoria where she was a regional reporter for The Weekly Times. A former grape and stonefruit producer, Sandra lives and works at Swan Hill, located in the heart of the Mallee and central to Australia’s major citrus, grape, nut, stonefruit, dried fruit and grain growing regions. She now writes for a range of print and online publications and works as a communications specialist for grower groups and peak bodies, helping them to increase awareness and drive practice change that makes Australian farmers more competitive, profitable and sustainable.
