Make sure you're prepared for game day

evokeAG. brings together the entire agrifood ecosystem – farmers, innovators, researchers, corporates, government and investors – to connect and collaborate in one location. It attracts people and organisations from different walks of life, industries, and countries, who would not usually be in the one place, so make the most of it. Use the Pappyon app and evokeAG. event space to see who is attending, to connect, and to continue the conversation after the doors close on evokeAG. 2024.
Through our event app you have the opportunity to connect with the delegates. Make sure you make the most of the app as well as the RSM Business Lounge on Level 2.

Connect with delegates via the networking app

  1. Check your email. An email was sent from Pappyon to the email address on your registration. Find this invitation and follow the instructions, including “accepting” the invitation. If you can’t find the email head to the Help Desk at Registration and they can reissue the email and help you access the Pappyon app.

  2. Set up your profile. Once you’ve signed in make sure you complete your profile. This is critical in helping other attendees connect with you. You will be asked a series of questions (“Category that best describes you”) to help “match” you with other attendees. The more information you include the better.

  3. Start connecting. To start connecting head to the Event Connect tab (second from the right at the bottom of the app) and select evokeAG.. Once in the event space visit Attendees, to see who is attending and request connections if you know who you want to connect with.

  4. It’s a match, help others find you. To activate the match making capabilities, head to Attendees tab and click on the Suggested tab and “add my preferences” (at the bottom). Complete this series of questions to let us know who you would like to meet at evokeAG. 2024.
    Review the Suggested connections throughout the course of the event and suggested connections will appear based on the series of questions you completed.
    Note, if these aren’t hitting the mark return to the “add my preferences” link and add more criteria or less, depending on what you are after.

  5. Connect. Review and send connection requests, and accept those that have been sent to you. To see who you have connected with head to the connections tab at the bottom of the home screen.

  6. Reach out. Once you’ve connected with delegates reach out via the connections function in the app and book a meeting. Make connecting easy and meet at the RSM Business Lounge. The concierge will be on hand to seat you, taking the awkwardness out of meeting with someone if you don’t know what they look like!

  7. Plan your day. Don’t forget you can also use your app to view the program, read more about speakers, partners and startups and scaleups involved in the event. Make sure you’re well prepared and know where you want to be and when.
