evokeAG. 2025 unveils bold new format to ignite agrifood revolution

evokeAG., Asia-Pacific’s annual convergence of agrifood innovation, science and technology has today launched its 2025 program, packed with daring discussions, immersive sessions and game-changing innovations.

evokeAG 2025 MCs Tim Hunt, Saron Berhane, Oli Le Lievre and Liz Brennan

Taking place in Brisbane on 18-19 February 2025, at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, evokeAG. 2025 will bring together visionary scientists, global business leaders, investors, innovators and producers from across the entire agrifood value chain. The two-day convergence will spotlight the best in global agrifood, fostering vital conversations aimed at propelling agriculture toward a more sustainable and resilient future.

With a bold new format, evokeAG. 2025 promises a vibrant, hands-on experience, sparking collaboration and fuelling the kind of critical thinking that leads to action. Attendees can expect real world insights, transformative ideas and seamless networking opportunities that make a difference.

The new and refreshed evokeAG.  will also see four dynamic MCs of diverse backgrounds take to the stage to discuss the burning questions with a soon-to-be-announced line up of exceptional speakers across the agrifood supply chain.

The MCs for evokeAG.  2025 are:

  • Oli Le Lievre: Founder of Humans of Agriculture, a social enterprise dedicated to connecting, discussing and sharing stories across the agricultural community.
  • Liz Brennan: Co-founder of agdots – a consultancy leveraging people, place and connection to generate impactful thinking and powerful results for regional communities – and a dynamic leader in Australia’s agricultural landscape.
  • Saron Berhane: Bioengineer and microbiologist and founder of BioScout, an agritech startup which pioneered biosecurity in the global agriculture industry.
  • Tim Hunt: Principal of Tim Hunt Consulting and leading agribusiness consultant with more than 25 years of expertise in international market trends and food supply chains.

AgriFutures Managing Director John Harvey said the evokeAG. 2025 program will tackle the most urgent issues facing the agrifood supply chain head on – creating a space where groundbreaking solutions emerge.

“evokeAG. is a platform where we come together to challenge how we envision the future of agriculture and beyond,” said Mr Harvey.

“As we navigate complex, cross-sectoral challenges, evokeAG.  will ignite the urgent conversations we need about global food security, climate change, biosecurity, cybersecurity, geopolitical tensions and the transformative impact of technologies like AI, robotics and quantum computing.”

Mr Harvey also highlighted Queensland as the ideal setting for evokeAG 2025.

“Queensland is fast becoming a hub for innovators developing cutting edge technologies to revolutionise agriculture. Coupled with its diverse agricultural, forestry and fishery industries, it’s the perfect place to host evokeAG. 2025 and showcase what’s possible when innovation and agriculture meet.”

The theme for 2025, Common Ground, is a call to action for the global agrifood community to come together, break down silos, and work collectively to shape a resilient and sustainable future.

2025 MC Oli Le Lievre underscored the power of true connection across the sector.

“evokeAG.  isn’t just about catching up on the latest trends; it’s about meeting the gamechangers making those innovations happen. It’s a unique opportunity for the entire agrifood supply chain to unite —from farmgate to the cutting edge of tech—and forge new pathways for collaboration that create lasting impact.”

Over two action-packed days, evokeAG.  will push boundaries with sessions that range from thought-provoking discussions to interactive breakouts and bold, audience-driven experiences. In our last session, delegates are in the driver’s seat—asking the toughest questions with an opportunity to vote their favourite speakers back on stage to tackle the big issues head-on.

evokeAG.  2025 sessions include:

  • Tough questions: You ask, they answer
  • Sustainability by injection: weight loss drugs and the future of food
  • People first: The untold story driving agritech and agriculture’s future
  • You can’t ask that: The big, bold questions to ignite a movement

evokeAG.  MC Liz Brennan said this year’s program is all about challenging the status quo across the entire supply chain.

“The AgriFutures team has put together a game-changing lineup for 2025—one that tackles the biggest trends and toughest challenges facing the global agrifood sector head-on. We’re not just talking about change; we’re driving it,” said Brennan.
