Startups

The evokeAG. Startup Program brings together emerging and scaling agrifood technology businesses from Australia and around the world, providing a platform to showcase innovation, connect with industry, and support pathways to growth.

As part of evokeAG. 2026, the program highlights startups addressing challenges and opportunities across agriculture, food production, sustainability, climate resilience, supply chains, and related sectors. Over two days in Melbourne, Victoria on 17 – 18 February 2026, participating startups will engage with investors, producers, corporates, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the agrifood ecosystem.

The Startup Program is designed to facilitate meaningful connections, encourage knowledge exchange, and support commercial outcomes through curated engagement and exposure within the broader evokeAG. event.

Streams

Startup Alley is a global platform spotlighting 40 of the most innovative agrifood tech startups and scaleups, tackling critical agricultural challenges with groundbreaking technologies. This initiative fosters investment, commercial partnerships, and meaningful connections, enabling founders to showcase their innovations, engage with industry leaders, and drive growth in the agrifood sector.

Complementing this, the Australian Landing Pad is an intensive market-entry program designed for international agrifood tech startups looking to establish a presence in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. This program accelerates market entry from years to days through strategic introductions, targeted workshops, and immersive industry engagement.

A unique networking event sponsored by the Food and Agribusiness Network (FAN), where investors, producers, corporates, and startups gather to discuss key focus areas in the agrifood tech sector. Each table, hosted by a startup, focuses on specific future forces topics such as artificial intelligence, climate, and biosecurity. Throughout the evening, guests rotate tables, engaging in focused discussions and building meaningful connections. This format fosters deep interaction, allowing startups to pitch their technology and facilitate conversations, enhancing networking and collaboration within the agrifood sector.
