Five unmissable sessions on day 2 of evokeAG. 2025

If you’re picking just five (though you REALLY don’t have to), here are five knockout sessions on day two of evokeAG. 2025 you won’t want to miss.

Stephen O’Brien, CEO, Mort & Co, will take to the stage on day 2 of the evokeᴬᴳ⋅ 2025 program in 'People first: The untold story driving agritech and agriculture’s future'.

Bold ideas, breakthrough moments and plenty of coffee will be on the agenda when you return for day two of the evokeAG. 2025 program, 19 February 2025. Here’s five sessions that have got your name all over them.

1. The great fallacy: The future is female

We’ve highlighted the female funding gap, but women are the backbone of agrifood innovation – and deserve the spotlight. How can we make them leaders in decision-making, investment, and strategy?

Join our panel of trailblazers including Kylie Frazer, Co-Founder and Partner, Flying Fox Ventures; and Lisa Hewitt, Queensland and Northern Territory General Manager, Elders (more to be announced) as they break down barriers, from funding opportunities to the impact of childcare in startup hubs. This session dives into why these gaps exist and how we can close them.

2. Meet SkyKelpie: Mustering reimagined

Get ready for a muster like no other – you can experience it from your seat! evokeAG. delegates will get a bird’s-eye view of a remote muster as Luke Chaplain showcases his SkyKelpie drone technology in action.

Joining him, Humans of Agriculture host Oli Le Lievre will discuss how this game-changing innovation is revolutionising livestock management, boosting both efficiency and safety in the paddock.

3. People first: The untold story driving agritech and agriculture’s future

We’ve seen plenty of shiny tech and big innovations, but without the right people, it all falls flat.

This session asks a bold question: are we genuinely investing in the workforce driving primary industries forward?

From paddocks to boardrooms, it’s time to focus on the humans behind the industry. Supply chain leaders will reveal the tough realities of workforce gaps, skills shortages, and what must change now to ensure our future is not just tech-powered but people-driven. It’s time to rethink our priorities and commit to investing in the people who make it all possible.
