Harriet is a passionate storyteller with a background in public relations and communications across various government sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Public Relations and Communications and currently studies a Master of Communications.
Harriet became immersed in the Australian agricultural landscape after completing her university studies and moving to Moree in regional New South Wales. In Moree she launched her career in Local Government pitching news stories to local news outlets and television stations. Following this Harriet worked on a Federal Government infrastructure project where she used her knowledge of the local Moree community and agricultural practices to negotiate construction works and provide progress updates to the community.
Harriet is now based in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales where she coordinates key research outcomes for over 10 rural agricultural industries within AgriFutures Australia’s levied industries portfolio.
