Rebekah is passionate about the field of agriculture believing it allows for leadership in international development discussing pivotal challenges to overcome in society.
Rebekah is in the process of becoming a youth ambassador for Young Farming Champions Australia and believes that education in agriculture is key in changing a warped perception of agriculture in the urbanised world.
Spirited and ambitious, Rebekah has particular interests in international development surrounding plant physiology, pathology and agronomy. Recent achievements in 2018 include attending the Annual Crawford Fund Conference as a scholar and receiving the Renatus Ebersohn Scholarship at the University of Queensland.
As a young female leader, Rebekah is passionate about the future of agriculture and the path that lies ahead for food security, nutrition and environmental impact.
