Danish delegation brings world class innovation to evokeAG. 2023

Denmark is best known for Vikings, Hans Christian Andersen and for being one of the happiest Nations in the world. The Scandinavian country is also a hotbed of agricultural innovation — and with thanks to the Trade Council of Denmark a delegation of world-class companies attended evokeAG.: Down to Earth in Adelaide on 21-22 February 2023. We’ve pulled together a summary of the six Danish companies that attended to save you time.

Danfoss: ‘Engineering a better tomorrow’ and decarbonising businesses

Founded in 1933, Danfoss is a family-owned company with more than 40,000 employees. Danfoss designs and manufactures products that improve machine efficiency, reduce emissions, decrease energy consumption, and support electrification. These solutions are used in various settings, including refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, power conversion, motor control, industrial machinery, automotive industries and boating. Founded by Layland Barker in 1987, Titan is widely considered the largest privately owned company supplying shipping and storage containers. They offer a wide range of container types, including standard dry cargo containers, refrigerated containers, flat rack containers, and open-top containers. Titan Containers also offers custom container modifications, such as paint, insulation, and electrical work. They have a worldwide network of locations, making it easy to find the correct container at the right price. In addition, they offer leasing and rental options for customers who need a container temporarily.

Maersk: Providing global supply chain solutions

Maersk is a Danish multinational company that operates in the transportation and logistics industry. They are one of the largest container shipping companies in the world, providing ocean freight, inland transportation, and supply chain management services. Maersk has a large fleet of container ships and a network of terminals, depots, and hubs worldwide. In addition to shipping, they also offer customs clearance, freight forwarding, and port operations. Maersk is known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, focusing on reducing emissions and increasing efficiency.
