evokeAG. Brisbane-bound in 2025

On the first day of the sell-out 2024 AgriFutures evokeAG. event in Perth, AgriFutures Australia has today announced that evokeAG. 2025 will head to Brisbane, Queensland.

In partnership with the Queensland Government and the Brisbane Economic Development Agency, AgriFutures Australia will take Asia Pacific’s premier agrifood innovation event to the Sunshine State. evokeAG. 2025 will land in Brisbane, Queensland on 18 and 19 February 2025.

The 2025 evokeAG. event is set to be the biggest on record and will build on the more than 1,800 international and domestic delegates currently converging on the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre for the 2024 event.

The unique, international event brings together thought leaders and change makers in agriculture, food manufacturing, research, innovation, investment, and policy to build connections for a more resilient, productive, and profitable agrifood sector.

AgriFutures Australia Managing Director, John Harvey, said Queensland was fast gaining a reputation as the birthplace of an expanding number of innovators who are creating cutting-edge technologies that transform the agricultural landscape.

“Queensland is an agriculture, food and fibre production powerhouse, with a proud history of industrial and agricultural innovation,” Mr Harvey said.

“This combined with its blossoming agrifood tech and innovation scene make it the perfect place to host the next evokeAG..

“Since launching in Melbourne in 2019, we’ve learned that to create an event like evokeAG., you need a few key ingredients like a thriving and open local ecosystem, a community hungry for innovation and solutions, and open-minded, passionate people.

“Through planning with the Queensland Government and Brisbane Economic Development Agency, and Platinum Partner, Elders, we’ve already witnessed these ingredients in spades, and we can’t wait to bring evokeAG. to life in Brisbane next year. I look forward to seeing you there.”

Queensland Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities, Mark Furner, said:

“Queensland’s commitment to a high-tech digital, sustainable and low emissions future makes it the perfect state to host evokeAG.

“AgTech is a strong part of the sustainable future of agriculture, solving problems and growing businesses.

“The Queensland AgTech Roadmap we completed with industry last year and our investments in AgTech through the Gatton Smart Farm and the Smart Cropping Centre in Emerald show we are backing our producers with real investments.”
