International Startup Showcase: Iddo Geltner - Arugga
Arugga AI Farming robots will provide a solution to the challenges growers face such as labour shortage and costs, pest and diseases, inaccurate yield prediction and problems with bee pollination.
Arugga AI Farming is developing an autonomous greenhouse ground robot that circulates and captures useful data and imagery, to proactively address and treat a number of issues. These robots will be providing a solution to the challenges growers face such as labour shortage and costs, pest and diseases, inaccurate yield prediction and problems with bee pollination.
Arugga AI Farming are initially focusing on pollination in greenhouse tomatoes, and recently completed the design of their prototype and will soon test it in commercial settings in Israel and Australia.
Up to five successful international (excluding New Zealand and the Pacific Islands) startup participants will receive the opportunity to address global problems in the agrifood sector and provide a solution through their 3-minute International Scale-ups Showcase.
