Local Startup Showcase: Sivam Krish - GoMicro
GoMicro are a microscopy 4.0 company who are re-inventing the microscope and instilling it with artificial intelligence, for the intention of allowing it to be accessible to the public and not just scientists.
GoMicro are currently focusing on agriculture to help farmers and agronomist detect pests, leaf disease and assess food quality accurately. Their patent-pending technology creates lab-quality imaging conditions significantly increasing the accuracy of detection, reducing the number of images needed for training purposes, resulting in the most accurate AI detection that is available at this level magnification.
Up to eight successful local (including New Zealand and the Pacific Islands) startup participants will showcase their startup on stage with a 3-minute presentation to the audience showcasing their cutting edge technology relating to the agrifood sector.
